Ever wanted to collaborate with The Yok, Sheryo, and Alex Lehours? Thanks to Converse you just might have the chance.
To mark the re-release of the iconic All Star Chuck 70, Converse have decided to do something just a little bit special. The sneaker is designed to stand out in the crowd, with a timeless silhouette that’s accentuated by bold colours and two all over prints – so it’s only fitting that they mark the occasion with an event that’s sure to turn a few heads.
From TODAY individuals from around the world can submit their ideas for a collaborative mural to be painted by the three artists. Submissions can come in the form of written words, sketches, or video via Facebook, instagram, or twitter – as long as the carry the #sneakersclashfreo hashtag. So the sky is the limit in terms of your personal creativity. Yok, Sheryo, and Lehours will draw from the submissions and use them as the basis for a massive collaborative wall on Market Street, Fremantle. This is your shot at having your personal vision commemorated permanently on a massive scale by international renowned artists, which we think is a pretty cool opportunity.
Submissions for the piece close Wednesday May 7th, and the painting will commence from Thursday 8th of May – so don’t sleep on this one!
